Late thank you note

Dear Daddy,

It's been 1 and half months since I had intended to write this thank you note. Ah sweet procrastination :P
1. For getting us a seat on the Upper deck onboard the A380 non stop to London heathrow airport- I so love my own personal compartment to put my belongings! I don't want my bag on the floor!

2. For Mcdonald's that has 24 hour service! A place to rest our heavy jet-lagged head at 6 in the morning.

3. For a hotel that is just 3 blocks away from The Dominion Theathre- where Hillsong's London service was held! And for the free flow coffee that the kind folks gave us to keep us awake.

4. For letting us meet a friend from home- Belinda! She brought us to do tourist-y things and eat good food!
5. For this a King Deluxe suite in this Swanky boutique Hotel just off Oxford st (where ALL the shopping is!) most importantly- at a affordable price.

Yes, It comes with a threadmill... We don't need it though... we walked 12 hours a day.

6. For placing Amy in London to bring us out for dinner- most importantly... got us the discount and upgrade at the hotel

7. For Hard working Koreans that opens the restaurant till late. And serving hot Kimchi soup on the cold and miserable London night.

8. For letting Belinda bring us to the best chinese restaurant in London- Four Seasons (not the hotel chain.)

9. For 2 pound Meal deals at all supermarkets- Affordable yet feels our tums. (inc sandwich, crisps and water)

10. For helping us get to the Eurostar station on time- The London Tube line we were suppose to take was down... a big detour later... we got there with 10 min to spare... *phew*

11. For the hotel with the View & Cup noodles from London

12. For my new trusty Bata shoes that made my feet less weary

13. For one of the best 3 hour dinning experience in Paris, Montparnasse

14. For the newly renovated Prada Store that relocated up the street (so I don't need to walk 20 more blocks to the old one.

15. For the Great weather

16. For the great bargains :)

Thank you Daddy!
Love,
Your daughter & Son
Jas & Ed

1 month and a week

It's been 1 month and a week exactly since I've been here.
Everyone that hears about my job all have 1 common reaction "SO FUN! Jas! Any openings for me?"
Actually, not everyday is fun, in fact, I go home almost everyday feeling defeated and deflated.
You see- I am a perfectionist. If things don't go exactly as I have played it in my mind- then I have failed.
But I'm learning to cut myself some slack single everyday. Afterall, who am I to judge if I am perfect or not?

I've met some very interesting people. By far- the most interesting one- is my boss.
She has one of the most creative minds I've ever known anyone to have. She can sit down and in 15 min draw out 3 different sketches of gorgeous flower arrangements!

She also likes the office to be extremely quiet. That way she can be creative and not be distracted. You will probably only hear mouse clicks if there are no phone calls.
(I'm still learning to keep quiet. I am- by nature a very noisy person, I talk to myself, Hum melodys, whistle when I work- that helps Me.

Ah... the teething issues of a new relationship. I remember in my previous job- I had to get use to a boss that shouts. I think this is much easier to adjust to. I'll just bite my lip.

Let me end off on a happier note- My happiest moment thus far...
It was time for My bride to do her gown shopping. She asked me- "Jas, How do you know which gown is for you?" I replied- "You will know!"
2 bridal boutiques, and about 10 gowns later, she still had didn't know.
Finally, at the 3 boutique, number 12, the moment she put it on, her face litted up gloriously and knew that was her gown. She looked gorgeous and blissful.
