Finally- A home for the happy couple!

After 2 years of living in my Father's place,
countless viewings,
countless discussions with the family...


Yes! we finally have started renovation, and hopefully we can move in end August 2010!
We now have a 3.5 (NG) room lil' flat nested in a nice matured estate of Ang Mo Kio!

I actually forgot

I can't believe it. It's been so long since I blogged, I had momentarily forgot my own blog address.

I have lots on my mind, but no mood to write or talk about it. I just want to stand under hot running water and forget about all that's said and done today.

Crazy busy week

It's been a LONG time since I blogged, and LONG time since I had a breather...
Lately my time is spent in between planning for weddings and attending more weddings... some TV in between. I've always been a HUGE Fan of TV... mostly Reality TV and Sitcoms though I do get hooked to the occasional TVB drama here and there...

Recently, I've been religiously watching (which means watching them in 1 go on the hubstation) "So you think you can dance S4" and "Extreme Makeover- the Home edition". There's just something about watching seemingly impossible things happen... i.e tearing down a house and rebuilding and furnishing it in 5 days. Makes me wonder, why does it take 2 months to renovate a small HDB flat or years for road works to complete :P

So... I finally got around to attending a Caregroup- it was so beautifully furnished and homely... I loved it. But I love the fellowship more! Thank God we finally found one that clicked. I can't wait for the next one!
All this talk about homes, just make me feel like having one now! Due to a series of unfortunate events happened last year... Hubby and I are still living in my parents home, not that I'm complaining, home cooked food, a helper to clean and do my laundry.. It's a palace! But I long for my own home... I hope it comes soon...

I can't wait to renovate it, and make it uniquely us... a place the 2 of us can call home...
